Well it's really kicked in now, that feeling of leaving. Homesickness only lasts a few weeks but I'm so desperate to just go that I'm not sure I'll get much at all! Yesterday was the last I'll see of all the CYFA crew- who I really WILL miss. A little upset I couldn't make that week of high-adrenaline hyperactivity in July! So yesterday was Abi's wedding, and as per my usual habit, I had a few too many drinks of coca-cola, got very hyperactive, lost track of the keys to my flat, and my clothes (not the ones I was wearing!) and ended up in Winchester, lost. It's at times like those when a taxi driver is the next best thing to Jesus! A £40 ride to my parent's to wake them up at 2am was just the ticket, and my wobbly legs the next morning didn't deter me from cracking on with preparations at home, and a bit of a goodbye barbeque at Yarrawonga!

Tonight at 2300, I have a mate from work coming with a van to
pick up all my music equipment
and things coming with me to sea, so there's no easing up- The flat is currently a bombsite as you can see with all the packing- or not really packing-just making a mess
basically.
So much to do- and not long to do it! There is still an issue with storage- cardboard boxes are nowhere to be seen, and it's starting to feel a little last minute now... and having spent the last 3 days in Leamington, my mind is now firmly on this week of preparation.
